City of Ember
So, the movie City of Ember just came out, and I was wondering if anyone has seen it or plans to see it. Since it's based on a book, I thought that this would be a great place to discuss the movie and novel. Which did you like better? What was your favorite part/scene? What are you excited about seeing on screen? What do you wish they had included in the movie?

Online Book Club: Jurassic Park
The theme for Teen Read Week this year is Books That Bite, so we're kicking off our blog with an announcement of our first book club selection: Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. All you have to do to participate is read Jurassic Park, then check back and start commenting once we've started our discussion. We're in the process of obtaining extra copies that can be checked out from the library. After we've read and discussed the book, we will announce a movie time at the library when we will be showing Jurassic Park, then we'll continue our online discussion with a compare/contrast between the book and movie. There's no need to sign up, just get a copy of the book and start reading! More details to follow...
